I och med godkännandet kan bolaget påbörja försäljningen till kunder i första hand i Norden. Godkännandet är huvudsakligen en garanti för att kraven på miljö, hälsa och säkerhet har följts och att produkten har genomgått de kontrollprocedurer som EG-direktiven kräver.
Företaget Synthetic MR bygger på forskning från Linköpings universitet och är idag ett dotterbolag till Accelerator Nordic. Den CE-godkända produkten Symri Suite är en mjukvara som är utvecklad från redan existerande MR-utrustning och den kan appliceras på befintlig utrustning. Tekniken har tagits fram för att göra undersökningar med magnetresonans snabbare och öka kvaliteten på dem.
