Förutom att finansiera de kliniska studierna, kommer en del av pengarna från nyemissionen att användas för att bygga upp en europeisk distribution.
- De diskussionerna är inte så långt komna. Vi har hittills bara fört sonderande samtal med ett par bolag som är verksamma i Europa, säger Johan Källstrand.
Produkten, som kallas SD-Bera, finns idag på 25 sjukhus och kliniker.
- Våra samarbeten är mycket viktiga för oss och därför är de kliniska prövingarna i Tyskland jättebra, säger Johan Källstrand.
En patient som ska testas med metoden får sitta med hörlurar och elektroder i pannan och bakom öronen i 40 minuter, medan 15 000 olika ljud spelas upp. Personens hjärnaktivitet jämförs sedan med bolagets databas, där aktivitetsmönster finns sparade för bland annat diagnoserna ADHD och schizofreni.
- För de diagnoserna har vi identifierat specifika mönster och vi har all anledning att tro att vi kan hitta nya specifika mönster för andra sjukdomar. Men egentligen har det nog inte med ljud att göra, det är bara enklare att arbeta med ljud än exempelvis ljus. Man kan ju inte blunda med öronen, säger Johan Källstrand.
