Vad ska du tala om?
– Jag ska prata om min erfarenhet av att som vd i ett mindre utvecklingsbolag arbeta med konsulter, kontraktsorganisationer och akademi i läkemedelsutveckling – vad man ska tänka på och så vidare. Jag har gott om erfarenhet inom detta från ett flertal bolag. Bland annat som vd för Avaris, som utvecklar cellterapier mot bland annat multipelt myelom, och tidigare i Independent pharmaceutica, ett bolag som utvecklade ett vaccin mot nikotinberoende. Jag är även aktiv i styrelser för mindre projektbolag och har jobbat som projektchef och projektledare i många andra bolag. Sannolikt kommer jag att ta upp ett antal exempel då det har gått bra att utveckla ett företag och några där det gått mindre bra samt vad detta beror på ...
Varför är det viktigt med den här typen av event?
– Jag tror att det är viktigt att inte missa möjligheten att träffas i denna typ av forum och dela med sig av sina erfarenheter, framför allt för de mindre utvecklingsbolagen. Mitt föredrag kanske inte bidrar med så mycket fakta, men jag har en del erfarenhet att dela med mig av!
Vad ser du själv mest fram emot under dagen?
– Det kommer sannolikt att bli många övergripande diskussioner. Dem ser jag fram emot att lyssna på och delta i. Jag ser även fram emot att träffa kollegor från andra bolag och organisationer att utbyta erfarenheter och nätverka med.
Vad är ditt bästa framgångstips?
– Lyssna på personer i din omgivning och var inte främmande för att ta stöd och råd från andra.
